Admission requirements

Candidates must meet the following conditions:

  1. Hold a master鈥檚 degree or its equivalent in Human or Social Sciences or Management, with a minimum average of A- (80%).
  2. Provide the following documents:
    • Letter of intent聽(maximum 1000 words);
    • Written confirmation of acceptance of thesis supervision by a professor from the 脡lisabeth-Bruy猫re School of Social Innovation (or, exceptionally, a professor from another school of the Faculties of human sciences and philosophy);
    • Two letters of recommendation from professors;
    • Curriculum vitae.
  3. Participate in an interview with the program coordinators (to verify the candidate鈥檚 goals and his or her suitability for the program).

Supervisor Requirement

Before submitting your PhD application, you must identify a faculty member from the 脡lisabeth-Bruy猫re School of Social Innovation who has agreed to supervise your research. Admission to the PhD in Social Innovation requires confirmation of supervision from a faculty member whose research aligns with your proposed project.

  2. Contact potential supervisors: Once you have identified one or more suitable faculty members, contact them directly by email to discuss your proposed project and potential supervision.
  3. Confirm supervision: If a faculty member agrees to supervise your research, ask them for written confirmation and add this document to your application for admission.
