Mission
The IRLT seeks to develop interdisciplinary and innovative ways of understanding and transforming trauma at the individual and systemic levels.
It is meant to support researchers and students in the development of collaborative, cross-disciplinary trauma research. The IRLT aims to develop complex and integrative ways of addressing various forms of trauma, contributing to resilience, well-being and transformation. This is especially important given the immense historical burden of intergenerational and collective trauma colliding with the current traumas of conflicts, inequality, systems collapse, and ecological crisis.
The lab aims to be a space for collaborative research and the development of effective approaches for trauma healing and transformation in diverse areas of life.
